After four years of NUA services, the Indianapolis Public School District saw dramatic improvements in student performance on the Indiana state assessment.
- In 2005, overall performance on state assessments improved by 31.9 percent compared with statewide improvement of 11.76 percent.
- Scores for grade 6 in the district increased over that same period by 106.26 percent compared withstatewide improvement of just 33.4 percent.
